Afrometry explores a connected view of industrial assets: their physical context, inspection information and engineering records. My work includes reality-capture demonstrations, digital-twin asset-management experiences and hyperrealistic VR training simulations, with an emphasis on oil-and-gas use cases.
Product development
I developed demos for oil-and-gas asset management and hyperrealistic VR training. I built navigable asset experiences with inspection findings and linked engineering documents to support equipment familiarisation and asset-management reviews.
Development approach
I developed navigable asset experiences that bring inspection findings and linked engineering documents into the spatial view. The intention is to make the visual model a useful entry point into the information associated with equipment, so a reviewer can move between the asset and its supporting records.
The training demonstrations use immersive environments for equipment familiarisation. Together, these tracks explore how the same spatial context can support both understanding an asset and preparing to interact with it. The product demo shows the proposed experience and how its information is organised.
Outcome
The work produced demonstrations of spatial asset review, connected inspection information and immersive equipment familiarisation. These demos provide a concrete basis for discussing the product experience and its applications in industrial asset management and training.
